Hardware Durability

Cycle, ease-of-operation and load testing for rollers, sliding hardware and related motion components.

What the test tells you

Put the hardware
through its life.

Durability testing is most valuable when it does more than produce a final pass/fail. Repeatable cycling makes it possible to see when performance begins to change and where wear is accumulating.

Accreditation / endorsement depends on the exact method and scope. SIIGMATIC can also undertake clearly identified development testing where a bespoke comparison is more useful than certification.

Typical scope

What we can
put under test.

01

Cycle durability

Repeat the prescribed movement to expose wear, looseness and loss of function.

02

Ease of operation

Measure the force required to move the system before, during or after cycling.

03

Static load

Assess hardware response under defined load conditions.

04

Roller / carrier behaviour

Observe bearings, tyres, axles, housings and adjustment mechanisms under repeated motion.

05

Development comparisons

Compare variants, materials or geometries under the same repeatable method.
