With the proven, best in class Mother of All Rollers technology forming the core of this project, the CiiLOCK design team went back to the drawing board and challenged every design decision in the patented technology’s storied history, re-evaluated every assumption, retested every variation, scrutinised every component and analysed every material. After many hours in the lab, they had their plan of attack.

Tire Materials

After scouring the globe for the best materials, our engineers tested and catalogued the top candidates, pinpointing the perfect Engineered Polymer for the On Ice roller—minimising operating force and maximising life cycle.

Bearings

The right tire material needs the perfect bearing. Minimising operating force requires careful selection of width, diameter, clearance, and lubrication. Our lab technicians decided on the ideal bearing for this roller.

Geometry

Size does matter. We aimed to fit the largest wheels into the same small footprint. Adjustments to the housing and carriages allowed us to fit wheels 20% larger than common rollers on the market, without requiring any changes.
