From private and tranquil patios, through to high traffic living and entertainment areas, the advancing technologies of sliding door systems have brought to life the luxury of wider openings and seamless views; enriched with improved energy efficiency. For us, embracing these industry developments and conquering the challenges of heavy daily use was the spark that ignited the creative journey of our widely celebrated ‘Mother of All Rollers.’
From the very beginning, our design team were inspired by the brilliant supportive structure of the ancient roman arches and, building upon this ‘pressure-based’ concept, created a sliding door roller powered upon a unique ‘self-levelling’ mechanism; instantly activated when the weight of the door is applied to the roller.
The challenge, code named “The Mother of All Rollers” was to create the most economic, functional and durable roller for today’s market.
Following countless hours of meticulous research and development, a roller powered upon a one-of-a-kind ‘self-levelling’ mechanism was created.
Based on pressure, the design operates upon an ingenious self-levelling mechanism that ensures even weight distribution across all wheels. This eliminates all bending forces commonly associated with conventional ‘see-saw’ rocking mechanisms and accommodates for any imperfections in the door or track.
Upon application of the glass panel, a downward force exerted on one wheel causes it to sink into the carriage and in turn, forces the other wheel up; ultimately increasing the downward force exerted onto the second wheel.
HIGHER LOAD RATING
While equally distributing the implied force of the glass panel, the unique mechanism, like the Roman Arches, empowers the carriage with superior supportive capabilities; ensuring the panel motions smoothly and consistently while soundly supporting up to 300kg.
Designed for optimal durability and operation, custom-engineered polymer tyres with precision ground bearings have been specifically selected due to their highly durable and wear-resistant characteristics and rigidity under load.
In contrast to metal wheels, the polymer tyres’ lower coefficient of friction against the track provides the end user with reduced operating force for smooth and quiet door operation.

Precise adjustment (up to 14mm) can be achieved with a standard Phillips or flat head screwdriver via an M8 screw located at the edge of the door.

Shifting architectural trends have posed an increased demand for enabling larger and wider openings; incorporating walls of unobstructed, incessant glass.
DOUBLE AND TRIPLE GLAZING
Supporting eco-friendliness and aiming to lower the carbon footprint has resulted in an increased demand for the use of highly energy efficient, double and triple glazed panels.
Creating better insulation to contain heat, these extra layers of glass bear a greater weight capacity than standard single glazed panels and consequently, require reliable and heavy duty hardware to support smooth and consistent operation.
